Not only do hand-forged bottle openers make great gifts, but they are also a great way to improve your blacksmithing skills or try it out for the first time!

Participants will forge bottle openers from 1/4"x 1"x 6" flat bar. The handle can be finished in a variety of ways including lanyard holes, decorative forging, or even another bottle opener, just in case. Depending on design complexity, participants can expect to take home more than one opener in this 6-hour class.

Students must wear closed-toed shoes, have hair tied, a hat or bandana (recommended), and long pants. Wear natural-fibered clothing- synthetic fabrics can melt and catch fire when exposed to heat.
