About
We rent individual rooms, ‘arthouses’ and camping for artists and art appreciators. Artists may arrange an independent artist residency with housing, studio, and meals, sign up for a workshop, rent a studio or shop, or lead a workshop or retreat. We typically need 2 business days to process requests.

Rates
Indoor rooms: $60 per room, per night (1-2 guests)
Arthouse: $40 per room, per night (1-2 guests)
Tent Platform: $20 per night (1-2 guests), $10 per additional person maximum of 5 people
What’s included
We offer free wifi, coin-operated laundry machines, shared bathrooms, and a kitchen.
Age requirements
Salem Art Works requires overnight visitors to be 21 or older except during Salem Teen Arts. All youth must be accompanied by an adult during Teen Arts.
Pets
We do not provide housing for pets. The only exception is for certified service animals or emotional support animals. Proof of certification must be provided when you plan your visit.
Cancellation Policy:
A 50% deposit is required upon booking overnight accommodations. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of your stay.
Cancellations thirty days before the start of the residency will receive a full refund. For cancellations after thirty days but before two weeks we reimburse all but $50. Cancellations with less than two weeks’ notice will not be refunded.
