Celebrate the Winter Solstice at the Top of Cary Hill from 3 PM to 5 PM.

Salem Art Works, 19 Cary Lane, Salem, NY 12865 or take Stanton Hill Road off 22 toward the water treatment facility. The red gate marks the entrance up the hill.

The bon fire is entirely contingent upon the burn ban in our area. We're hoping it is lifted in time so we can have the event rain, snow, clear or cloudy skies.

This is a family-friendly event, dogs must be friendly with other dogs and kids, please keep on a leash, and feel free to bring snacks or drinks. Dress warm!

Please note: no restroom at the top of the hill, please use the indoor bathroom at the Cary House.

We invite everyone to walk up the hill and back down for the event, though cars are welcome contingent on the road condition. We will close the gate if the road is deemed too icy or snowy.
