Artist statement

To me honesty is most important about my work – authenticity, being able to share true feelings, inner fears, state potential problems in our society, being able to speak openly about anything at all. The framework for this is being able to test the boundaries of a medium, an image, to push it into the unpleasant, simultaneously to question what aesthetics still means today. All that aside of course I cannot control the received but only that which I send, so I try not to overthink whatever might come, rather let the work speak for itself and hope it has something interesting to tell.
