ABOUT SAW

Salem Art Works (SAW) is a nonprofit art center and sculpture park in rural Upstate New York, dedicated to supporting artists and fostering community engagement through contemporary art. Established in 2005, SAW offers artist residencies, educational workshops, and public events like the Festival of Fire, while providing access to facilities for blacksmithing, ceramics, glassblowing, welding, and more. The 119-acre Cary Hill Sculpture Park features rotating installations by regional, national, and international artists, open to visitors year-round. By nurturing creativity and appreciation for modern art, SAW inspires innovation and cultural connection.
